Accessible Viewing Areas

Accessible Viewing Areas

Accessible Viewing Areas or AVAs are an essential requirement for events. We have designed a few simple platforms, complying with current guidance from HSE and The Purple Guide. These can be adapted to suit the site – if more capacity is required, two small viewing areas give a better user experience than one large one.

We build these platforms from LiteDeck staging at 0.9m high with meshed handrail. They come with a ramp and a set of access steps.

Our equipment includes:

  • AVA for 12 people (6 wheelchair users + 6 companions)
  • AVA for 24 people (12 wheelchair users + 12 companions)
