Recent events include:
British Aerospace staff at Brough have taken 3 years and
£7,000,000 to restore the Sea Fury single seat fighter plane. The restored aircraft
needed to be be rolled out in style. The event was designed and delivered by 3D
productions to an audience of over 300 including The Duke of York and other Naval
dignitaries.
It included rolling sets, flyaway video screens, a massive kabuki, front and rear
projection as well as more standard lighting. The sound was all digital six channel
surround with the final editing taking place on-site so that the audio and lighting were
ideally matched.
This was further enhanced by the lighting cues being driven off the sound tracks to ensure
perfect synchrony - time after time!
Over the following three days we repeated the 20 minute presentation more than 25 times so
that the entire workforce of British Aerospace at Brough could see the spectacular event.
Last years Classical Fantasia at
Kirkstall Abbey was a resounding success and we will be repeating this same event this
year in association with Alan Hillary Events and Pains Fireworks.
The Opera in the Park is a vast
outdoor opera event, promoted by Leeds City Council. As many as 40,000 people attend. 3D
handled all the lighting and site electrics for this major project.
